For autobiographical sake, (which will hopefully someday be biographical) I believe it is important to share as to when was my very first gallery exhibit. Besides my memory is not what it used to be, and I would like to know about this too.
Held at The University of Texas in the VAC Gallery, Praxis was a group exhibition comprised of prints created by my advanced intaglio class. Throughout the fall, I experimented with new materials and processes to create a cohesive print collection, while dedicating to build my first set of custom frames.
After what seemed like ten lifetimes, Praxis opened the last week of the semester. Just in time for my graduation on Saturday (Dec. 6th, 2014). It was certainly week of milestones.
