I don't even know where to begin... this has been such a long journey, physically and emotionally. I guess you could say it was poetic justice that my thesis show opening fell EXACTLY on the day I was admitted to the ICU a year ago. Although I had to postpone graduation a semester later, and completely redesign my entire show because of it, in the end this wasn't just about earning my MFA degree, but rather it was a celebration of life in itself.
I am still without words, and so is my doctor who still can't believe all that I managed to accomplish. The most truthful and sincere thing I can say at this point is... I"m so relieved grad school is over and done!!! :D My heart will always stay with the friendships I have made at ASU. That is what I cherish the most forever and always.
